I chopped through my fingernail and nail bed last night when I was chopping an onion. I pride myself on my knife skills but I guess that's being a little cocky considering I butchered my finger. Still makes my knees week when I think about it. I haven't looked at it since last night. My thumb throbbed all night. I am really worried I am going to lose my fingernail.
